About The Anniversary
In 2016 we celebrated the 50th anniversary of the signing of the National Historic Preservation Act. This seminal legislation established the framework for America‘s historic presercation efforts and has resulted in the preservation of thousands of significant and irreplaceable buildings and archaeological sites in Wisconsin alone.
