"On Wisconsin" Jeep
Ordnance Lieutenant Elroy Derksen of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, glances up from writing on papers laying on the hood of his jeep at a military base in New Guinea (present day Papua New Guinea). His jeep has the phrase "On Wisconsin" painted below the windshield. "On Wisconsin" is the title of the University of Wisconsin Fight Song and the State Song of Wisconsin. The tail of a warplane is behind him. |
