University of Wisconsin President Conrad A. Elvehjem, left, presents plaques to three "Friends of 4-H" at the State 4-H Club Week program in the Wisconsin Union Theater. With Elvehjem are, left to right, Henry L. Porter, Chicago, developer of the 4-H tractor maintenance program; Roy B. Ormond, farm service director of Oscar Mayer and Company, and William F. Groves, Lodi, retired dairy leader and now a television farm director for WISC-TV. They were honored for their exceptional contributions to rural youth work.
