This map show plats including plat names, plat numbers, and some lot owner's names. Relief is shown by hachures. The map includes line drawings of Juneau Block, Harrington House, Thomas O. Wells Building, Augusta House, Pearl Block, 3rd Ward School House, T. Davis’ Livery and Sale Stable, Kellogg House and includes a key to references. The map also shows housing additions and subdivisions, ward boundaries, North La Crosse, voting wards, streets, street names, schools, churches, railroads, railroad depots, banks, hotels, rivers, cemeteries, newspaper publishers, public landings, public squares, Mississippi River, La Crosse River, Black River, Loquet Island, Taylors Islands [sic], Steam Saw Planning Co., Sill, Loomis and Root Steam Saw Mill, J. Valentine Steam Saw Mill, Crosby, Hanscome and Co. Steam Saw Mill, J. Goodhue and Co. Foundry and Machine Shop, Wautonga Cemetery, Butrick’s Flouring Mill, D.
