At the center top, the dates 1776-1876 flank the image of an eagle standing on a globe and holding a banner in its beak reading: "Century of Progress in Grain Harvesting." The illustration includes four men harvesting in a field along a river, while on the left a woman wearing fashionable clothing is standing on a terrace looking down at them. A child is in the garden below her picking flowers. Around the decorative border of the poster are four harvesting scenes from 1776, 1825, 1800 and 1850.
