Alliant Energy Community Grants | Funding Historic Preservation | Wisconsin Historical Society

The Alliant Energy Foundation's community grants are directed at programs and projects that benefit residents and communities within the Alliant Energy service area. Grants are awarded in five major categories: Human Needs, Education, Culture and Art, Civic, and Environment.

In addition to the five major categories, the Foundation further values initiatives that promote safety and diversity, and those that qualify in multiple categories are of particular interest and receive special consideration.

When examining the issue of diversity, we seek to fund projects that help to break down barriers and create an inclusive environment that maximizes the contribution of all people while providing opportunities for minorities. In terms of safety, the Foundation favors projects that educate and motivate people from all walks of life to live safer and healthier lives – whether at home, work, school, play or when traveling.
