Additional Information:This former farmhouse faces Mineral Point Road and its address when first surveyed in 1973 was 5326 Mineral Point Road. Today, that access is closed and it is accessed instead from Manitowoc Parkway. In 1979 and addition was added to the house and it became a duplex residence. This property was called the Gugel Farm before its purchase by the University of Wisconsin. The map code is 0709-194-1216-7.

From 1947 to 1975, it was the site of an experimental farm for research in genetics and veterinary science. Porch partially enclosed in 1988.
