Additional Information:A site file exists for this property. It contains additional information sucha s correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, Division of Historic Preservation. The building served as the headquarters of the United Sates Armed Forces Institute (USAFI) from 1943-1986. It was determined, by WHS on January 3, 2011, that the building has suffered a significant loss of historic integrity and no longer reflects its use by the USAFI. The Madison Children's Museum moved to this building in August of 2010.
