Additional Information:Sanborn maps indicate the dance hall was built between 1904 and 1913.

J.B. Adam ran the dance hall until at least 1901. By 1904, this building and the adjacent saloon (601 N Wisconsin St) were known as Columbia Park and was run by Peter Meyer, Jr. Four years later, Peter Schmit was the proprietor. Schmit ran the saloon and dance hall until selling it to John Rosewitz by no later than 1927 (2003).
