AHI# 103830, AHI # 13542, AHI# 103865, AHI# 237449 The first non-extant school associated with St. Mary’s Catholic Church was completed in 1870 and was attached to the rear of the church as an addition and was demolished to make way for the present St. Mary’s Church in 1884. St. Mary’s Catholic Church, located at 451 North Johnson Street, is already listed individually in the National Register of Historic Places. A new school building was constructed on the site of the non-extant first church building in 1916. The school was expanded with large addition in 1952. |
