BAYFIELD SURVEY FORM (07/1974): General Comments: -with some Richardsonian Romanesque influences -sandstone foundation -romanesque arch over door way -sandstone window sills -cupola on roof with the bell -triangular dormers on east and west sides -building is framed with flat brick piers at the corners of each facade, under the cornice the bands of bricks recede to join the interior panel which is framed by the corner brick piers -the importance of this building is increased because it is part of the total church complex and strongly resembles the rectory. |
