It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the State Historical Society, Division of Historic Preservation. CNR BLDG WITH GEOMETRIC DETAILS. Resurveyed 2009. Appearance unchanged. 2009- "This Twentieth Century Commercial building was constructed in 1908 and housed a general store run by the Enz brothers. The building is two stories, with a flat roof and parapet. The store is clad in red brick with cast stone accents. The first story has been significantly altered and consists of modern storefront windows and doors capped by a large pent roof covered in rough-split shakes. Beneath the windows is a band of modern brick. The send story retains its original fenestration design of three large Chicago-style windows, although the windows themselves are modern vinyl replacements with snap-in muntins. Decorative brick raised panels are present in the parapet." -"CTH KB: CTH R to Prospect St", WisDOT#4538-04-71, Prepared by Justin Miller, (2009). |
