Additional Information: | The site of the building was the first permanent Jesuit mission on the Fox River. The mission was founded my Claude Allouez in 1671, and was burned by Native Americans in 1687. It reopened in 1717. Building was originally a side gable form clad with clapboard. Given a mansard roof in 1885. Turned into apartments and clad with stucco in 1936. 2017: No immediately apparent exterior alterations since last surveyed. |
