Additional Information: | Photo code #2: 75BR-4/14 All windows with segmental arched, brick hoodmolds as well as the entrance door. Ell to west is original. Gable roof, one story brick wing on west side of front gabled main block. There is a bullseye window with corbelled brick surround in the upper part of the front facing gable end. #650: Garage. ARCHITECTURAL/ENGINEERING SIGNIFICANCE One of a small group of brick, front gabled houses with 1-1/2 story front gabled main blocks and a one story, gable roof ell placed at right angles to the main block. Differs from the sidegabled ell building form in that the main entrance is always in the main block, not the ell although several examples have a secondary entrance in the ell as well. the original rural setting of all these houses has been altered by the growth of the expanding city. Note: Markedly similar to 1088 Shawano Avenue (27/18). Green Bay Intensive Survey Phases 2, 3 & 4 |
