The front and the south facing salients have canted first floors with elaborate jigsaw cut fan-shaped corner brackets. The principal windows on the first floor of these salients have stained glass transoms. The first floor of the house is sided in clapboard and surmounted with a beltcourse. The second floor is sided in thinner clapboard siding up to the second floor meeting rails and is sided in fish scale wood shingles up to the eaves. There is an original one-story wing to the rear of the house. It is unusual to see so many of the original decorative elements preserved in a house in such poor condition.
