Additional Information: | Previously 322 N. Roosevelt St (1957 Sanborn-Perris Map). Current facade is newer than the building and has itself been altered. Second floor windows reduced and surrounded with plywood. The concrete sided first floor dates from the original remodeling and was designed to resemble cut stone. There is a thin decorative concrete band just above the modern pent roof which is also part of the original remodeling. First floor windows have been filled with concrete block with smaller glass brick block windows set into the infill, and the entrance doors are also modern. SIMPLE BLDG WITH RIBBON WINDOWS AND ATTACHED GARGE OF EARLIER DATE ALTERED FIRST STORY. In photo and/or map codes, (F) stands for Fox River Valley Survey. Negatives filed with survey project. Related building: 322 N. Roosevelt St. (85/03). THE INVENTORY CARD PHOTOGRAPH INDICATES THAT THE ADDRESSES FOR THIS BUILDING ARE 324 AND 322 N. ROOSEVELT. |
