Additional Information: | All windows with segmental arched, brick hoodmolds as well as entrance door. Ell to east side is original. Gable roof, one story brick wing on east side with secondary segmental arched entrance door on front facing facade of wing. This may have been the original kitchen wing. There is a bullseye window with corbelled brick surround in the upper part of the front facing gable end. One of a small group of brick, front gabled houses with one and a half story front gabled main blocks and one story, gable roof ells placed at right angles to main block. Differs from the side gabled ell building form in that the main entrance is always in the main block, not the ell although several examples have second entrances in the ell as well. The original setting of all these houses would have been rural with the expanding city having subsequently filled in the surrounding area. Garage. NOTE: markedly similar to 1456 Dousman Street (27/22). Green Bay Intensive Survey Phases 2, 3 & 4 |
