Additional Information: | Fine Queen Anne style design altered with later siding. Excellent, intact veranda encircles north facing corner of the main facade and has a large gablet over the original panelled oak entrance doors which have a transom lite above them. The gablet end is divided into small panels covered in tongue and groove board siding. The porch is supported by turned colonettes and has an elaborate turned balustrade and a similar spindlework freize above. A bell roofed circular open porch with a bracketed cornice is placed above the veranda on the second floor and has a similar balustrade and freize. The front facing ell has a shallow two-and-a-half story tall rectilinear bay facing the front with an open, gable roofed porch with a spindlework balustrade placed in the uppermost story. The east facing ell has a polygonal bay window facing east on the first floor with an open gable roofed second floor porch directly above, which also has the same spindlework balustrade and freize. The uppermost gable end at the peak of the main roof is sided in the original fishscale pattern wood shingles.
