NOTES
Additional Information:This c.1880 one-room school, located at the intersection of CTH W and USH 61 in the unincorporated community of Mt. Zion, is a one-story, rectangular-plan, front-gable vernacular building. The walls are clad in clapboard and the moderately-pitched gable roof has raked eaves and is covered in corrugated metal. A hip-roof vestibule spans the east-facing main elevation and features a four-panel wood door to the left of a small square window opening, currently covered with plywood. A small metal stove chimney projects above the ridgeline of the roof near the east end. Fenestration is regular, and consists of three openings proceeding at a regular cadence across both the north and south elevations. These openings contain four-over-four wood double-hung sash.
