It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. 2014- "The Howard-Hanold Farmstead consists of six contributing resources (a farmhouse (224241), hay shed (224246), animal barn (224250), silo (224251), outbuilding (224252), and small animal barn (224253)) and two noncontributing resources (a recently-constructed pole barn (224272) and garage (224273)). This 2 1/2 story American Foursquare house was constructed c.1915. It is rectangular in plan with a cast stone foundation, stucco walls, and an asphalt-shingled hipped roof. The front elevation faces west and is symmetrical in plan with a 1-story, hipped-roof porch spanning the width of the facade. The porch has stuccoed stone piers at both front corners and shelters a central front door and banks of three 1-over-1 windows on each side. Each bank of windows has single-pane windows above. The second story of the front elevation contains two pairs of 1-over-1 windows and a central window opening that has been filled by composition board siding. The north elevation contains a two 1-over-1 windows and projecting bay window at the first story; the bay window contains a bank of three 1-over-1windows with a three-pane transom window and is capped by an asphalt-shingled hipped roof. The second story of the north elevation contains three 1-over-1 windows. A hipped roof dormer with a bank of three 1-over-1 windows is located in the northern roof slope. The south elevation contains a 1-over-1 window, a single doorway, and a projecting bay near the southeast corner. The bay contains a small pair of 1-over-1 windows in its south side and a 1-over-1 window in its west side. In back of this bay is a 1-story rear entry bay with a single door and wooden stoop.
