2014- "The Howard-Hanold Farmstead consists of six contributing resources (a farmhouse (224241), hay shed (224246), animal barn (224250), silo (224251), outbuilding (224252), and small animal barn (224253)) and two noncontributing resources (a recently-constructed pole barn (224272) and garage (224273)).

This 1-story hay shed was constructed c.1940. It is rectangular in plan with no walls and a metal roof. The western elevation is mostly open to allow machinery to enter, while the side walls are framed with vertical and horizontal lumber, but no sheathing. The wall under the gables is clad in vertical boards."
