It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. 2014- "The Howard-Hanold Farmstead consists of six contributing resources (a farmhouse (224241), hay shed (224246), animal barn (224250), silo (224251), outbuilding (224252), and small animal barn (224253)) and two noncontributing resources (a recently-constructed pole barn (224272) and garage (224273)). This astylistic utilitarian animal barn was constructed c.1900. It consists of the main barn mass and smaller telescoping additions to the west elevation. The barn has a cut stone and concrete block foundation with metal siding and a metal-clad gambrel roof; a shed-roofed projection spans the length of the southern elevation and contains six 6-over-6 windows. A conrete block addition with metal-clad gable roof projects from the west elevation; the addition has glass block windows in its north, south, and west elevations. A smaller addition with vertical board siding and a metal-clad gable roof projects from the concrete addition.
