Additional Information: | 2014- Appearance unchanged. 2012- This property is a c.1900 two-story, cross-plan, vernacular house with some Queen Anne elements. Resting on a fieldstone foundation, the walls are clad in clapboard. The moderately pitched gable roof is covered in asphalt shingles. On the front (west) facade, the entrance is sheltered by a hip-roof porch with tapered square posts and clapboard balustrade. Gable ends are clad in wood shingles, and the south gable end features a two-story bay window with decorative brackets supporting the cutaway corners of the gable. A small central brick chimney projects above the ridgeline of the roof. Window openings have simple wood surrounds and contain one-over-one vinyl replacement sash. |
