Additional Information: | 2014- Appearance unchanged. 2012- This c.1915, one-story, rectangular-plan, side gable cottage is built into the slope of the shore of Long Lake and has an exposed basement. Resting on a concrete block foundation, the walls are clad in clapboard and the moderately-pitched gable roof is covered in asphalt shingles. The east (side) elevation is spanned by a window wall that wraps around the northeast and southeast corners, which feature paired three-over-one wood double-hung sash. Additional window openings are located on both the front and rear elevations and contain six-over-six wood double-hung sash, as does the single lower-story window on the west (side) elevation. A smaller window in the gable end appears to contain casement sash behind a storm. The main entrance is located on the front (south) facade at the southwest corner; the opening contains a single-light half-glazed replacement door. |
