Additional Information: | This 2-story Front Gabled house was constructed c.1890. It is rectangular in plan with a fieldstone foundation, vinyl siding, and an asphalt-shingled gable roof. The front elevation faces north and is asymmetrical in plan due to an off-center front entrance. A 1-story, hipped-roof porch spans the width of the façade and is ornamented with turned wood supports and brackets and scroll-cut spandrels, although the porch railings are modern replacements. Within the porch are a front door flanked by a 1-over-1 window and a large multi-pane fixed-sash window. The second story of the façade contains two 1-over-1 windows with a smaller 1-over-1 window at the attic level just below the gable. A smaller side porch along the east elevation features the same decorative detailing as the front porch. |
