Additional Information: | This 1 ½ story Craftsman bungalow was constructed circa 1920. The house is rectangular in plan with diamond-patterned asphalt siding and an asphalt-shingled, side-gabled roof with a flared front eave. Heavy beams with shaped ends are located along the overhanging eaves on both side elevations. The front elevation faces north and is symmetrical in plan with a recessed, enclosed front porch spanning the width of the façade. The porch features red brick corner walls and quarter walls along both sides and along the front with a break for the front entrance. The front entrance is comprised of a central door flanked by multi-pane double-hung windows with narrow transoms. On either side of these are banks of three 1-over-1 windows with additional banks of three 1-over-1 windows on each side wall of the porch. A front-gabled dormer projects from the front roof slope; the dormer contains a bank of three 1-over-1 windows and is clad in diamond-patterned asphalt shingles. The dormer eaves feature the same heavy beams with shaped ends. |
