Additional Information: | 2013: The barn is located to the east of the farmhouse. Resting on a fieldstone foundation, the walls are clad in board and batten siding and a central sliding door is located on the west elevation. The gable roof is covered in asphalt shingles and a hanging gable shelters a hayloft door on the south elevation. A c.1910 tile silo is located adjacent to the barn on the west side. The Willie Farmstead consists of a house [86067], barn [224867], silo, tobacco shed [224868], pumphouse [224869], equipment shed [224897], corn crib [224871], windmill, and other associated buildings [including 224870 and 224872]. The property is sited on a low rise and has a deep set back from both CTH F and Pomeroy Road. |
