Additional Information: | 2013: A one-story, rectangular, gable-roof animal barn is located northeast east of the dairy barn and rests on a concrete foundation with walls clad in drop siding and an asphalt shingle roof. The west elevation has a central doorway flanked by windows containing twelve-light wood fixed sash, and a pair of sliding doors is found on the east elevation. A small door beneath the peak of the west gable can be opened to provide additional ventilation. The Houfe Century Farm is located at the northwest corner of Pomeroy Road and CTH F. The property includes a farmhouse [86066], basement (dairy) barn [224873], tobacco barns [224893 and 224896], animal barns [224894 and 224895], silos [including 224962], grain bins, a corncrib [224891], and several other outbuildings [including an equipment shed, 224892]. |
