Additional Information: | This 1 ½ story Craftsman bungalow was constructed in 1923. The house is rectangular in plan with clapboard siding, wood shingling under the gables, and an asphalt-shingled side-gabled roof. The front elevation faces south and is asymmetrical in plan with a recessed front porch located at the eastern end of the facade. The porch features a tapered clapboard-clad pier in the front corner and clapboard-clad quarter walls along the side and front. Inside the porch, in the south wall of the house, is a single door and a 1-over-1 window. The remaining space that is recessed under the front eave is fully enclosed and features a bank of four 3-ove-1 cottage windows in the front wall. A second entrance is located in the eastern wall of the enclosed portion of the recess and consists of a glazed multi-pane door with matching sidelights. A large front-gabled dormer projects from the center of the front roof slope; the dormer contains a center door with single-pane windows on each side. The door provides access to a balcony with modern wood railing. |
