NOTES
Additional Information:The current Wayne’s Drive-In was built in the 1960s or 1970s as a general use building. Initially used as a snowmobile shop, a party room, a furniture refinishing & antique store & a storage facility, it acquired its current appearance as a 1950's themed diner in 1998.

2015- "There are two buildings associated with the legal parcel address of 1302 Washington Avenue (225004 and 225163); however, the street address for the octagonal restaurant is 1331 Covered Bridge Rd.

This 1-story octagonal drive-in restaurant (AHI#225004) was constructed circa 1960. It is octagonal in plan with stucco and tile walls
and asphalt-shingled roof. The entrance to the restaurant is centered in one of the eight bays of the building and faces south. Picture
window are centered in the two bays on either side of the entrance. An octagonal dormer rises from the center of the roof with small
rectangular windows in each bay. A modem, space-age looking sign emblazed with the words, "Wayne's" rises from the center of the
dormer.
