NOTES
Additional Information:This farmstead consists of five historic buildings: a Gabled Ell house [225091], a dairy barn [225087], a chicken coop [225089], a corn crib [225088], and a machine shed [225090].

The 1-story chicken coop was constructed c.1940. It is rectangular in plan with a concrete foundation, board-and-batten
siding, and an asphalt-shingled gable roof.

The farmstead appears to be in good condition and retains a moderate degree of integrity.
The farmhouse is a vernacular building with diminished integrity due to vinyl siding and new windows and is not
considered individually eligible. As an early twentieth century farmstead property type, the farmstead contains an animal
barn, chicken coop, corn crib, and machine shed; however, historic aerial photos also show that these are only a fraction
of the historic collection of outbuildings. At least four secondary outbuildings and one silo are no longer extant. As a
result, the farmstead is not considered to contain an intact collection of historic agricultural outbuildings.
