Additional Information:The 1881 Map of the County of Marathon lists the house and 40 acres belonging to M. Zopfe. The 1901 county map shows the house and 160 acres as belonging to Jacob Barron. By 1920, William (Wilhem) Haag lived here with his family. The property operated as a dairy farm and remained in the Haag family into the late 1950s.

The house has a stone foundationl and concrete water table
