Additional Information:Constructed in 1928 and designed by Stanley Kadow, this building was owned by Ignatz Czerwinski who appears to have rented a portion of the building to Albert H. Czerwinski for his drug store; Frieda Jeuk ran a fruit market in the other storefront. J & R Motor Supply opened in the early 1930s and took over the entire building in 1944. In 1960, the building was the home of a men’s clothing store named Irv’s, The Working Man’s Friend.
