Additional Information: | 2012- "This heavily remodeled one-story commercial building has a rectangular form with a gable roof and "boomtown" parapet on the main elevation. The parapet is stucco-covered and the original storefronts have been enclosed with modern glazing in the transoms, modem sliding windows, modern siding materials, and a modern entrance enclosed with paneling at the center. This building was constructed for August Horder in 1894, then owned by R. S. Young for many years after 1901. Local history sources indicate it was a meat market." -"Request for SHPO Comment and Consultation on a Federal Undertaking", Prepared by Carol Lohry Cartwright, Historic Resources Consultant, (2012). |
