Additional Information: | Located at the northwest corner of STH 21 and Oakwood Road, this one-story, brickfaced, Contemporary-style house is topped with a gabled roof; it features a two-car garage wing that extends to the south. The main (east) facade is defined by a broad prow-like element whose point coincides with the top ofthe roofs ridgeline. While the northern section is obscured by foliage, the southern half of the main facade displays a pair of picture windows whose tops angle upward with the roofline. A large, brick chimney rises through the roof. Information on this property is scant, an examination of plats and USGS maps indicate that this house was built sometime after 1975 in an area already filled with small, rural residential parcels. With its broad prow on its main facade and angular fenestration, this intact Contemporary-style house merits an entry in the Wisconsin Historic Preservation Database. 2022 - This is a Contemporary brick house constructed circa 1975. Located at the northwest corner of STH 21 and Oakwood Road, this one-story residence faces east and features an asymmetrical gabled roof above irregularly-shaped windows. An attached garage with two separate garage bays is located to the south. |
