Additional Information: | The newly inventoried house at 974 S. Oneida Street is a single-story Minimal Traditional brick residence. Based on its appearance and the surrounding neighborhood, it was constructed ca. 1950. The brick house has a hipped roof with a gabled wing on the asymmetrical east-facing (front) facade. The entrance is located in the L formed by the house and the wing. Two pairs of one-over-one windows light the facade. The remaining windows on the north and south elevations are single one-over-one windows with concrete sills and brick lintels. A brick string course in header bond runs under the eaves around the perimeter of the house. The roof is sheathed in asphalt shingle. The foundation material is not visible. |
