NOTES
Additional Information:The house has vinyl siding and an asphalt-shingled roof. It appears that the original front elevation of the house faced north toward Millington Rd., but subsequent alterations have rendered the east elevation the building's primary facade. Resources listed for the Whitfield Farmstead are the house (#226077), poultry house (#226078), small animal barn (#226080), bank barn (#226086) and animal barn (#226088). 2013- "The 2-story Gabled Ell farmhouse was constructed c.1900. It is irregular in plan with vinyl siding and an asphalt-shingled gable roof. It appears that the original front elevation of the house faced north toward Millington Rd, but subsequent alterations (including the enclosure of the front porch and the lack of access to the north entrance, as well as the construction of an entry porch along the east elevation) have rendered the east elevation the building's primary facade. Windows throughout the building are newer 1-over-1 and single-pane casement windows. Although the building's original Gabled Ell plan is discernible, large rear additions have drastically altered its original design." - "I-39/90 and I43/WIS 81 Interchange", WisDOT ID #1003-10-02, Prepared by Gail Klein (2013). 2024: Aerial imagery confirms that this building was demolished between 2023 and 2017 as part of the interchange construction project referenced above.
