Additional Information:The sliding barn door is on the north elevation. Resources listed for the Whitfield Farmstead are the house (#226077), poultry house (#226078), small animal barn (#226080), bank barn (#226086) and animal barn (#226088). 2013- "The bank barn was constructed c.1925. It is rectangular in plan with horizontal board walls and asphalt-shingled gable and shed roofs. The main building mass is front-gabled with a sliding barn door in its north elevation that is accessed by a low earthen ramp. A shorter, shed-roofed mass projects from the east elevation. Fixed-sash windows are located in the foundation walls along the east and west elevations."- "I-39/90 and I43/WIS 81 Interchange", WisDOT ID #1003-10-02, Prepared by Gail Klein (2013). 2024: Aerial imagery confirms that this building was demolished between 2023 and 2017 as part of the interchange construction project referenced above.
