Additional Information: | Windows are filled by replacement sashes. Ben Cleveland, Jr. built in 1924, Albany’s first gas station on the parcel that also contained his blacksmith shop (no longer extant). He stopped selling gas once other stations were established by the mid-1930s and returned to his primary activity of blacksmithing. He retired from that venture in the 1950s. |
