Additional Information: | 2013- "Sheathed with a limestone veneer, this one-story, side-gabled, Cape Cod house features a central roof dormer that denotes home’s entrance. A round-arched door provides entry from the two-step stoop with metal railing. Windows throughout the house are six-over-six-light sashes, arranged singly and in pairs (with shutters). A dominant exterior chimney rises along the home’s north endwall. Located in Wurster Subdivision, this house was built circa 1939 by Gress & Dreyer and, in May of 1940, it was sold to Knute & Gertrude Haga. Knute was born in Norway and worked as a mason contractor. The next confirmed owner of the home (in 1964) was Vincent Skiera." - "W Morgan Ave, W Forest Home Ave to S 43rd St", WisDOT ID #2405-00-04", Prepared by Heritage Research, Ltd (Schnell) (2013). |
