Additional Information: | This resources is located on the Elam Beardsley Farmstead; properties include the house (10579), stone barn (226174), silo (226175), agricultural outbuilding (226176), and shed (226177). The farmhouse (AHI #10579) was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. The barn was formerly adjacent or attached to another barn of board construction which was attached to the remaining concrete silo. According to the National Register nomination for the Elam Beardsley farmhouse, the barn was “in ruins” and photos from the 1975 or 1978 survey show the barn in a deteriorating condition. Since that time the adjacent barn of board construction has been demolished and the remaining stone barn has been restored. 2012- "The stone barn (AHI #226174) on the prope1ty was constructed circa 1975. It is rectangular in plan with an asphalt shingle, gable roof. In the southwest elevation, there are centrally located large timber doors flanked by glass block windows. The barn was formerly adjacent or attached to another barn of board construction which was attached to the existing concrete silo. According to the National Register nomination for the Elam Beardsley farmhouse, the barn was "in ruins" and photos from 1979 survey show barn in a deteriorating condition.
