Additional Information: | THIS WAS ONE OF M. H. ANSLEY'S EXPERIMENTS IN CONCRETE BLOCK CONSTRUCTION. HE PURCHASED A CONCRETE BLOCK MAKING MACHINE IN THE EARLY 1900S AND BEGAN TO PROMOTE ITS USE. ANSLEY WAS A PROLIFIC LOCAL BUILDER, BUT HIS CONCRETE BLOCK CONSTRUCTION DID NOT BECOME POPULAR EXCEPT FOR FOUNDATIONS. |
