Additional Information: | 2015 - "This one-and-one-half-story side gable house was constructed in 1930. It has a concrete block foundation, aluminum siding, and asphalt shingle roof. The front, south-facing façade features Tudor Revival influences, including a prominent brick chimney and asymmetrical gable projection with a sweeping roofline and round arch entry door. The projecting entry bay is flanked on each side by a one-over-one vinyl replacement window in a downsized opening. A wood front porch has recently been constructed, replacing what likely was a concrete stoop originally. The side elevations contain one-over-one vinyl replacement windows in downsized openings. The house may be a Sears, Roebuck & Company catalog home, as its exterior appearance closely resembles that of the Maplewood and Ridgeland house designs from the early 1930s." -"Buckeye Rd-Monona Dr to USH 51/Stoughton Rd", WisDOT #5992-09-04, Prepared by CCRG, (2015). |
