NOTES
Additional Information:2022: Although no alterations are evident since surveyed in 2011, a comparison to a 2001 photo of the home indicates that the elaborate entrance is not original, nor are the widowhoods seen on the first-floor windows or window surrounds on the second floor. Based on Google Streetview, the alterations occurred at some point between 2007 and 2009. Permit not checked.
Bibliographic References:Date of construction based on assessor's information. City Directories. The American Contractor, 1 September 1917, p71 includes an entry for a 2-story, 40x60 house at N. Lake Bluff Boulevard, architect HW Buemming; owner Chas. Neff, frame and stucco, est. $20,000.
