Bibliographic References:SHOREWOOD BUILDING PERMIT FILES. Assessor's information cites a 1926 date of construction; the 1927 Milwaukee city directory confirms its construction and lists the house as occupied by Henry & Gretchen Czech who would move to 4458 N. Maryland Avenue the following year. In 1928, the house was occupied by William W. and Lulu Dorward who may also have only been renting.
