NOTES
Additional Information:This farm consists of an American Foursquare house (AHI#229523) and approximately fifteen
outbuildings and/or farm structures (AHI#229524). In addition, an under-the-road cattle pass
(AHI#229525), complete with rubble fieldstone wing walls on each side of the highway, is
associated with the farm (and which brings the farm into the APE).

The outbuildings, which are all grouped to the south of the house, appear to date between the
circa 1920s and circa 1950. Included in the buildings and/or structures are the following: a
round-arched barn largely covered with conugated metal siding; concrete silo; small, gabled
basement barn; a small animal barn (possibly a chicken house) covered with asphalt shingles; a
frame pumphouse and windmill framing (without wheel); a frame, hipped-roof garage; a small,
shed-roofed chicken coop covered with asphalt shingles; two metal corn cribs; gabled frame
outhouse; a gabled, open storage building; a long shed (at the very rear of the property and only
visible from an aerial); and at least two more very small, non-descript sheds. Please note that no
one was home during field survey and the outbuildings are setback a significant distance from
the roadway and, therefore, individual photos of each building were not possible.
