Bibliographic References: | Previos information per the 2011 Village of Shorewood survey noted a 1922 date of construction. However, assessor's information notes a 1911 date of construction and George F. and Esther Ruez are identified as the home's occupants by no later than 1915. Also, The American Contractor, dated 14 August 1915, p66, notes that CW Valentine designed a brick-veneered garage for Geo. Ruez in East Milwaukee (pre-Shorewood naming). Richland Avenue is incorrectly identified as Richard Av. |
