NOTES
Additional Information:
Bibliographic References:Assessor's information cites a 1921 date of construction; as of the 1922 Milwaukee city directory, Paul and Hetty Breen are identified as residing at this address, which was formerly addressed on Downer Avenue. Per a citation in the American Contractor (17 September 1921, p68), Russell Barr Williamson designed a house for Paul Breen to be built at a cost of $10,000 in Shorewood. However, the intersection is incorrect--it cites Downer & Jarvis and its located at Downer & Wood Place. The design of this house is consistent with other works of Williamson.
