Additional Information: | A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. This farmstead contains nine historic resources including a house, two machine sheds, a granary, small animal barn, dairy barn, hay barn, windmill, and wire silo. All resources are associated in AHI No. 4902. The hay barn was constructed c.1880. It is rectangular in plan with an asphalt-shingled, gable roof, vertical board walls, and a concrete foundation. The gable ends are oriented north-south with hay doors and a hay track at the north gable end and a hinged door of vertical board construction below. Large sliding vehicular doors of vertical board construction are located in the west elevation. The majority of the east wall is no longer intact. |
