NOTES
Additional Information:Building #2 of 2-building complex; see AHI# 26056

2014- "The 2-story store/hotel building [26056] is irregular in plan with vinyl siding and a flat roof with a false front featuring decorative brackets. The front elevation faces west and is asymmetrical in plan with a 2-story veranda wrapping around north, west, and south elevations. The first story contains four picture windows and a pair of glass double doors. Individual doors are located at intervals along the second story. A large wing projects from the southeast corner of the building; individual doors are located along the first and second stories and the veranda continues along the second-story of this mass.

The 3-story c.1920 building [227582] is T-shaped in plan with vinyl siding and an asphalt-shingled side gabled roof. The front elevation faces west and is symmetrical in plan with a 2-story veranda spanning the façade with individual doors and windows at regular intervals along the first and second stories. Individual balconies project from the third story in between front-gabled dormers at the north and south ends of the façade. Each dormer has cutaway corners with decorative brackets below the gables.

The original store building has been converted to a restaurant; the interior could not be accessed at the time of survey, but views through un-shuttered windows show new flooring and drop ceilings with some original wood trim. The interior of the c.1920 hotel building could not be accessed at the time of survey, but views through un-shuttered windows show remodeled and modernized guest rooms."
